MYA is in the rural supply chain solutions business. It involves organizing the rural producer base, establishing the procurement network in rural areas and establishing market linkages through buy back agreements with upstream players in the value chain. MYA launched operations in April 2006 with an initial focus on building a microfinance base. MYA is now leveraging on the microfinance platform to shape its business model – Last Mile Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) – that critical component of the Farm to Fork supply chain revolution that has the potential to create wealth for millions of rural Indians. MYA is founded and promoted by Mr. Harsha Moily and Shaffi is a co-promoter with Harsha in MYA.
